Welcome

Our provision takes inspiration from the Forest School approach. We believe that spending time outdoors is very important. The children go outdoors every day no matter what the weather because we believe that the fresh air and wide-open spaces are good for them. We have a garden which the children access daily. We also go on regular trips to the nearby wild space, Lousehill Copse where we love challenging ourselves to walk up and down hills and mounds and climb up and over tree trunks. We look for signs of seasons, go on bug hunts and take notice of natural features.  

We run our Forest School Sessions on Wednesday and Friday. 

The Curiosity Approach is more than just beautiful play spaces. It’s a Modern-day approach to Early Childhood which takes inspiration from Reggio, Steiner, Te Whàrika and a sprinkle of Montessori underpinned by the EYFS. 

It’s a beautiful recipe of wonderful ingredients carefully mixed together with experience, passion and a love of early childhood. It’s baked together in a mindful oven of loveliness that needs that needs thoughtful practitioners and professionals to be mentally present, thankful and forever curious about their career with little children. 

This is a modern-day approach that fits perfectly in current changing technological times. Bringing curiosity, awe and wonder into Early Childhood and creating the ‘thinkers and doers’ of the futures.
