At Ranikhet Rainbows Pre-School, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is the national curriculum framework for children from birth-5 years. 

 We know that you are the most important person in your child’s life. From you they will achieve their first steps in language and communication, develop their physical skills and become social and develop friendships. We are here to support you and your child and it is important for us to work together to help your child develop to their full potential in the early years. For you this means the opportunity to share information about your child’s growth and development both at home and at Pre-School. This will be through observations and discussions and reviewing your child’s development on a regular basis. 

 Our Mission for our children is to always ‘Be yourself and be happy’ when little children are overwhelmed by big emotions, its our job to share our calm not join their chaos. Together we share a deep empathy for the natural world and the importance of outdoor play. We share a vision for our pre-school and the learning techniques that we implement through play. Inspired by theorists such as Maria Montessori, Reggio Emila, Te Whāriki and approaches such as The Curiosity approach. Combined together we have created a calm and stimualting environment filled with curiosity, wonder and awe which implemented correctly our children will carry with them for life, maximizing their futures and well-being.
